Here comes my analysis:
Phil really dominated this year once again which wasn´t the fact since 2013 where he was sent back in line after being callout because it was already so clear. (With dominate I mean to be way way better than the rest; he was better all the other years but talk about dominating 2011, 2013 and so far 2016 comes to my mind)
I liked the way he changed his posing. In the FDB due to fact that he has his arms little bit higher and less external rotation on his arms he hides the slight size difference from right to left arm. Very smart!
He also changend his foot positiioning concering the BDB. The wider stance makes his X- Frame even better visible and the lats come more to retribution.
Also I noticed that the Quads got even bigger. Sweep from the side is surreal.
Long story short: there is no competition. He just needs to stay focused and not lose momentum from all the good feedback, keeping up the hard work with Hany and eliever tomorrow too and then I ll see Sandow Number 6 in his hands.
The only thing I would critique is that there was a slight lack of oil in his last callout . During the mandatories it was perfect. Easy thing to fix for the finals
