Hey Phil,
yes, it´s me again :) I would like to know your opinion on intensity techniques. For example: supersets, giantsets, dropsets, FST7 or slow motion. How often do you use these and which is your favourite?
Have a great pump!
Hey phil, my name is George, don't laugh at the email address it's my wife's and it's the one that is linked to our cell phones and other devices.... OK you can laugh a little :) anyway I have a question / problem and hope you have some advice. I'm 31 years old, I've loved bodybuilding with a passion since gradeschool, my room was covered in pics of arnold, ronnie, etc and the most exciting thing about going to high school for me was the fact that I would be able to workout in the school weight room and start on my path to my dream of stepping on the Olympia stage, so suffice to say I've literally been training for bodybuilding since I was 13. Anyway that's not my issue, my issue is my fucking legs bro, I am 5'11 I'm between 280 - 290 lbs off season, and my contest weight on stage is usually between 240 - 245, and my legs have always been my weak point and they continue to give me trouble. The reason I gave you some background on myself is because I didn't want you to think I'm just a big meat head who slacks on legs, in fact it's quite the opposite. The fact is I train legs 2 - 3 tines a week, with EXTREME intensity, and as strange as this may sound, I almost never get any sort of pump in my legs and I'm very rarely sore the next day regardless of how much punishment I inflict upon myself. I have literally done every style of training in an effort to grow my legs, and my leg strength increases my endurance increases but my size, and muscle maturity are at a crawl compared to the rest of my body gains. I've done ronnie Coleman style heavy heavy heavy, I no bullshit can squat 495 for 12 slow controlled reps all the way to the floor but that gets me ZERO leg pump and the next day I could literally repeat the leg work out because I have no fatigue or soreness. I've also done fst-7 style stuff, high volume high rep, and that sometimes gets me a slight pump but very minimal, and my upper body continues to fly past my legs month by month and it's getting really disheartening. My arms measure 24 inches around, vascular and striated, my traps hit my ears, me delts are like canon balls and I have an 8 pack midsection with veins popping thru even at 280lbs..... and my legs are no where near matching my upper body, and it's killing me because I feel as though I've literally tried everything, every training style every supplament protocol, and everything grows so fast and my legs barely change. So my question is #1 ) do you know of anyone personally who struggled with a similar problem, and if so what finally rectified it. Or #2) if you don't personally know anyone, have you ever heard of anyone in the industry having such a tuff time? Or lastly #3) if the answer is no to # 1 & 2 I guess do you have any personal suggestions of what may be the problem? Thank you for reading and #philheath4president
ha ha .... he laughed at my email
That was hilarious. He totally had a great time with your screen name on Instagram (@PhilHeath):
Hi Phil, hope you're well? I have a injury to my shoulder (possible rotator cuff), I've been having physio treatment and sports massages to try and sort it out, so far it's feeling okay but I haven't trained shoulders in about 5 weeks now. I've seen previous footage of you at chiro and getting massages, do you find them an effective form of treatment??
Hi Phil,
I love all the tips & tricks videos you have been adding to the gifted channel recently. I have a question about one of the older ones: the leg press & variations with feet positioning, I was wondering on leg day if you were planning on doing 3-4 sets of leg press do you use different foot positions on each set, or do you just target the one area and use the same foot positioning for all working sets that day? Same question for Stiff Legged Deads also.
Thanks for your time champ!
hey phil , whenever im training shoulders . I like to visualize your shoulders . I think it's one of your best bodyparts. I always like to use some kind of visualization .
which bodybuilders did you use for visualization early on in your training ? or maybe you didn't at all ? what kind of visualization do you currently use during your sessions ? since your already at the top . do you simply visualize your self accepting the sandow ? or maybe you visualize creating a even better version of yourself from the previous season ?

I enjoyed seeing you guest pose a couple of years ago at the Emerald Cup. Have you scheduled all of your 2017 appearances?

Keep up the thoughtful q's!
Mr. Champ,
How do you beat the stress hormone with all the mental and physical work you do daily? Being in your position there has to be a lot on your mind. What helps clear your mind and body for each and every workout? Thanks Phil.

Keep the questions coming. :-)
Hey Champ, I'm currently at 184lbs and looking to maybe compete next year provincially. I hear mixed views on weather to cut from the current weight or try to pack on as much as possible before cutting however have never done either so I'm not sure what to believe. What would your advice be on a clean bulk?? Thanks
Hey Champ! Any tips for staying relatively lean on an 8 month bulk? Also, is there anything you like to do when you get to your weight limit (after so long), like a mini cut, dial back on some calories for a week or two, or increase exercise? I am relatively new to bulking and cutting and coming up to my 3rd cut in 3 years, do you have any recommendations about not getting too lean in the first few years in order to promote muscle growth and maintain a good metabolism?
Hey Phil,
First off thank you for your overall effort to interact with your fans through all the exclusive content on this channel. I recently signed up and I'm really enjoying watching all the stuff you post.
my question is tilted towards relationships: In one of your videos as you're packing up for the Olympia you had some "mysterious gift" for your girl. I found that very thoughtful cause despite all the pressure on you during the Olympia weekend you still manage to somewhat be very selfless and caring towards your girl even when you have every reason to be "thinking about yourself". would love your thoughts on your approach to keeping relationships sustainable not just between you and girl but on an overall basis such close friends and/or family.
Thank you once again.
Hey Phil! Goofy question, but I've always wondered...with such supreme arm genetics, if you ever decided to go ham on dem bis and tris, training them as often and intensely as possible, how big do you think they could get?
Hi Phil,
From watching one of your recent training videos you mentioned the importance of training hamstrings with multiple exercises, which I have already seen the benefit of utilizing, in a similar vein I was wondering what exercises for the quads you'd recommend to give that great separation you have?
Cheers
Hi Phil, do you and the gifted athletics team plan on adding shorts to the gifted range? Hope you have a relaxing Christmas and new year!
Hey Phil, I have two questions: How much weight per week should a person lose, without losing muscle. And, is it much different to overweight people?
How does somebody know, if the protein intake is to high?
Thanks for help
Rob
Hey Champ!I was wondering before signing with a supplement company like Ultimate Nutrition does Hany Rambod check the quality of their products or does he just trust your judgment?Much success to you in 2017
