Hi Phil!
which do you think is the biggest mistake you can commit while preparing a competition?
Thank you!
Hi Phil,
If you train a body part and it is still sore, do you train again if scheduled or do you wait until fully healed?
when you train legs is it difficult for you to walk for next couple of days or is that only an issue for novices?
Thanks
Hey Phil! What are your plans after retirement (I know its too soon to ask), but how do you envision your life after competition days are over?
Good luck on getting that 6th Sandow!
hi Phil best luck for the olympia bring the 6ix!
A quick question i am a university student and im planning train twice a day once in the morning fasted (due to my schedule, school and work). Whats your take on fasted weight training and taking carbs before bed to fuel the next morning work out.
Thank you, best wishes
Big O!!
Can you please break down Peak Week including diet training and of course your take on carb loading?
-Trini Chris
What do you think about the new Sandow trophy? Have you made room for it?
Hey Phil, a bit of a fun question:
I know you´re in love with your girlfriend, but how would you approach a attractive girl at the gym?
Maybe you can get your girlfriends opinion on this as well!?
Just another dudes advice...
See if eye contact is possible, but don't be too weird or obvious. Smile.
If you see often,
- Approach, but not while she is midset. And not while on Cardo.
- compliment
- mention you see them often
- just say Hi, introduce yourself, say have a good workout
- If they open conversation, talk more but make sure you establish you're there to workout, not pickup her.
- Walk away
- Wait to see if she says "hi" or anything next time she's around. If so, take the chance to ask her to do something outside of gym.
If not, move on...
That's some solid advice!!
How much cardio would you suggest to a person who is trying to drop his or her body fat? how long? and whats a good heart rate? and one last thing.. How to carb cycle?
Hi Phil,
I just wanted to ask what your thoughts are in regards to Blood Flow Restriction training, is this something you ever use? Would you use it towards the end of a workout in a similar way that you use FST-7?
Hi Champ! Prep still going as planned? You probably noticed the recent discussion about you vs Dorian Yates. And Shawn Ray's opinion about Yates being better. I just wanted to know your own opinion about all this. You will probably just use it as extra motivation to get number 6! Thanks.
Hey Champ! Hope you are well. Can't wait for your "time to shine" yet again in Vegas this year!!! Been watching Youtube clips of your previous wins and it never seizes to amaze how undeniably superior you are to the competition...yes, even in 2014! The IFBB blueprint has finally been matched by a flawless physique and most worthy representative for the sport - THE 6IFT.
phil , can you give me some dining out suggestions while in vegas ? also im going to the Arnold next year so some suggestions for Columbus would be great too . thanks so much.
Hello Phil,
I just want to ask you a question totally different from bodybuilding. Hope it lets you get your mind off from the brutality of the Olympia prep and give me a piece of advice from your college background. As you have a degree in IT and buisness, do you think I can achieve a great career in IT and do bodybuilding at the sametime? Keeping in mind that I have to work extra hours, keep project deadlines and so on, at the sametime eat properly, train hard and get sufficient sleep. what do you think about the prospect of being muscular and big in the corporate world? Do the higher ranking managers, board members and ceo's view me in a positive way or will it be a hurdle which I have to face through while I am going up the career ladder!
Good luck Champ!
-Karthick
Good question, I have the same question in mind.
